What is economic success? Imagining a Canada beyond growth

People in Canada have been gifted a creative opportunity, born out of a failing economic theory disconnected from our deepest aspirations. Whereas today, the majority of Canadians serve a system that has no real purpose, we now have the necessary ingredients to design a system that unleashes our full potential — a system that serves our diversity and delivers what we really want out of life. As Yannick Beaudoin of the David Suzuki Foundation writes, moving beyond our “growth” obsession opens up vast new horizons.
